Great state campground. Delaware does a great job. Lots of space between sites, great camp hosts, laundry, showers. Especially loved all the hiking trails. ud83dudc3eud83dudc3eud83dude91

Clean, well kept state park. Plenty of room for larger rigs. Beautiful pond & trails.

Great little campground. The young girl and guy working the camp store were awesome when switching sites for me. Oh, and you MUST get a Camp Quarantine shirt before they're gone.

This campground is very nice. The sites are huge, and the staff is welcoming. The bathrooms are clean, if the showers were busy, the hot water was not always hot, but I semi expected that.  I really enjoyed the trail options for a little hike. We did the yellow trail in about 2 hours and it was nicely marked. People did seem to not pick up after their dogs much on the hiking trail because at some points you could smell it, however I didn't see it on the trail where you might step in it. So, that was a plus.nnWe stayed in yurt 2. We got here when it was dark, but that was no issue, they had an outside light and had given my parents who stayed in a site right across from us the code to get in. Which was nice to have a door code because we didn't have to worry about getting there during the store being open for a normal check in. The inside light was very dim, maybe bring a small light yourself for night time, or maybe they'll replace the 2 bulbs that look like dull orange Halloween lights. Only one was normal. The yurts come with heat and ac. I stayed in the fall and the heat was nice and warm.  I did bring a small heater because it was not clear online if there was heat or not.  I used it a fairly cold night or two, I was happy to have brought it.  The beds are very uncomfortable. I would highly suggest bringing a blow-up matress to go over theirs if you have one. And I'm not someone who is normally picky about that. But it would have been really nice and helped with the sleep if we had. I pulled the top bunk matress down and put it over the futon because you could feel the metal bar in the futon, and then I could feel the popped springs in the matress. Hopefully they replace them at some point. The metal bunk bed in yurt 2 also came broken with cinder blocks under it to support the bed. We found this out in the middle of the night when my brother went to roll and the whole bed shifted and moved. And turns out it moved off the blocks. He rearranged it and tried to use roped to tie it up for extra support and then it was fine. It came with a kayak which we would have taken advantage of if it were warm. So, that was a nice little plus. And there is a way to get on to the trails right at the yurt site. So, you don't have a long walk with them to the water.nnThe bed situation is the only reason I made it a 4 and not 5 star review because it did make sleeping not restful at all. But the issues are all things that can be replaced. So, hopefully they will replace them all at some point soon. If I stay here again I will update the review if they do. I only camp here or there, so who knows. But I really did enjoy the park here. It was my parents second time. They also liked that the sites were so spacious because sometimes you feel like you're right on top of your neighbors and have to keep it down at night. My family can laugh and talk fairly loud. So, the extra space was so nice. The park was clean, and had fun things for us to do for hikes. We also did the go apes and had a blast!

Although I rated this 5 stars, lot 14 needs a tree at the front side of the lot for shade. We stayed in mid-June so I could not image staying on this lot in July or August. The reason I gave the 5 star is because this is a beautiful park. We hiked and kayaked everyday. The lots are huge and spacious. We are definitely coming again, just won’t stay in 14 until a shade tree is planted. DSP thanks for a wonderful trip!!
