The Bayard House Restaurant

We had a wonderful late lunch here. We sat outside, right by the water, with a beautiful view. First we had drinks, both of which were amazing! Then I ordered the salmon BLT and my fiance got the burger. Both were delicious and came with irrestible sweet potato fries. I would definitely recommend this spot for any couples looking for a romantic, but still relaxed meal.

Bayard house is our hands down favorite place to go. Who doesn’t love history and ambiance. Not to mention breathtaking water views. We are never disappointed when we go to bayard house for a meal

My wife and I stopped in on a very cold night, late. It was relatively off-season so the main dining area had been closed for the night. To our delight the bar downstairs was still open and they kept the kitchen open for us to order some food.nnVery accmodating. Great food, friendly service, and great atmosphere for two chilly travelers. Hopefully we have the chance on a warmer day to enjoy this restaurant along the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal.

Everything was Great, we arrived an hour early but they still got us in... From the hostess to the server and anything in between were very nice, the people that are employed there are genuinely friendly and welcoming, I highly recommend this place plus the food and drinks were exceptional...

Great setup with a combination of distanced indoor and outdoor seating, including heaters for the outdoor space and a lovely fire pit.nThe ambiance outdoors was outstanding during our visit, with Bud Falls covering Sinatra songs. Incredible voice.nThe food was amazing, our server was great, and the bartenders were also fantastic.nParking can be a little tricky, but it's totally worth it! Not our first time, and we'll be back soon!!
