Bayou Adventure

We rented a stand up paddle and a kayak to take out on Cane Bayou. The equipment was top of the line and seemed brand new. Had an amazing time on the water, and the guys at the launch were super friendly and helpful. Dinging one star because staff at the check-in shop was not wearing face coverings. Otherwise, all around excellent experience.

We LOVE Bayou Adventure!! They provide everything you need for the full Louisiana experience. Our family has gone to them for years for kayak rentals, supplies, and delicious food!! We just ate dinner there last night from their food truck and it was phenomenal. We ordered one if everything! Excellent service every time and a huge asset to our community!

The check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of beer variety and snacks to pick up before you head to the drop-in spot.nnThe gentleman at the drop in did a great job talking about all the variety of wildlife and things to see along the way.nnOverall the best kayaking spot close to New Orleans we have found. Beautiful nature and calm bayou that feeds right into the lake.nnThe price point for all day rental is awesome as well, best we have found.nnThis is our second time and we will be back!

Saw this place online and was excited to get some food. The absolute most authentic frozen heat and serve food I have ever had. Burger was obviously a frozen disk and I ordered what I saw online and it looked nothing like the pictures. I am all for gas station food but it would have been nice to know what I was walking into.nnLast Thursday

Highly recommend! Food is absolutely delicious! Definitely a cool store to stop in if you’re passing through! Friendly staff is top notch! Pizzas are incredible or grab you a bangin’ shrimp wrap! You will not be disappointed!
