A misserable, horrible school to send your child too. As someone who attended Bayou Woods Elementary for 3 years, I am not affraid to say with absolute certainty that this is one of the worst schools I have ever had the displeasure of attending, second only to the neighboring Carolyn Park. I witnessed teachers dragging children by their ears, leaving students in the cold and rain, giving multiple detentions for asking relevant questions, and giving my fellow classmates derogatory nicknames that we're shared amongst the faculty and staff. On multiple occasions, my first grade teacher showed up to school high, and she would threaten my mother when inquiries were made as to whether or not I was in an abusive environment. Everyone else on here can stop with the rediculous 5 star reviews in their attempt to make this place seem decent. It is a hell hole, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
