In my opinion Roy Burns is the worst possible choice that anyone seeking competent legal representation could make. My case regarding divorce and child custody, began in December of 2003. Roy was the first of five attorneys that I hired, in a 6 year period and was totally ineffective (they all were). It was not until I began representing myself in 2010 that i made any headway, ultimately being awarded sole custody of my 12 and 14 year old sons in 2012. That's right, I had to represent myself, and my two sons had to testify in court to protect their own lives. By the way Roy, the younger of the two is attending college for a career in psychiatry, and his older brother, industrial engineering. Thanks for absolutely nothing.

I can honestly say that if you are a decent and honest person, who simply made a mistake, these two will go to bat for you. They have tremendous respect in the St. Tammany 22nd JDC courtrooms from all judges and fellow attorneys. They are very focused and work their tails off for their clients. They saved MY tail, so trust me, I would know. Thank you Roy & Lam for defending me like you were defending a friend. Thank you for doing the job so fast. It minimized the time and extent to which I could have had high stress levels. Most of all, it kept me safe and protected from what could have been a catastrophic outcome. Hire either one of them and you will be thanking the good lord above that you did. Hopefully, my review has helped to aid some of you in your decision to call and hire Roy Burns or Lam Tran to represent you in your matter!

Lam was a great attorney! Answered any questions I had regarding my case and communication was great! He got back to me in a timely fashion with any questions or concerns I had, and that speaks volumes ! I would highly recommend Lam and the office of Roy K. Burns for your legal matters!

Lam Tran recently completed some expungements for me. He did an excellent job. He was very knowlegable about the law, was very detailed in his approach to the expungement process, and communicated regularly with me so I was always up to date on my cases. I would highly recommend him as a lawyer to other people.

The Burns/Tran law firm will go way out of their way to make sure your legal needs are taken care of. I can not express how thankful I am to have them represent me. Do not look any further, use Lam Tran Or Roy Burns for all of your legal needs. They were there when I needed them and always made me feel comfortable about my situation. I now look at these guys as friends and not just my attorneys!
