I had a great experience from start to finish. They gave me a GREAT price for my trade in and the entire staff went out of their way to make sure the whole process went as smoothly as possible. Dom took care of most of my paperwork and was an absolute joy to work with. Without being too negative, I went to a few other local dealerships and the level of service (or lack there of) was night and day. CARMAX NORTH SHORE IS THE WAY TO GO!

My sister purchased a car from here and had a great experience, so this was the first place I went to when I unexpectedly needed a new car.nnI got to meet Reggie and had an absolutely wonderful experience there! I pretty much knew exactly what car I wanted because I looked online ahead of time, and he was able to tell me a lot about it! He was super friendly and incredibly personable. It was like talking to an old friend! They fixed up the car (filled with gas, tire pressure sensor came on so they did the tires, and they removed some grime on the headlights) while we signed. I spent maybe 3-4 hours there, which is the fastest I've ever been in and out of a dealership with a car. They allowed 30 days to return the car, so I felt very very secure with my purchase driving off the lot. I wound up with a car that was not only better equipped than my old one and in good shape, but cheaper too. This is THE dealership to go to if you are shopping for used cars.

Honestly, I have an enormous amount of anxiety when it comes to buying a car and car salesmen. About a week ago my husband and I went to this CarMax to get an appraisal on my car. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and not at all like swarming hawks trying to get us to walk out the door with a new car. We were able to transfer a vehicle I really liked in to Louisiana, which only took a week to get here, go back to CarMax, test drive and ultimately purchase. It was the smoothest experience I’ve ever had and bonus points for letting my husband and I do the test drive alone. I am beyond happy with the level of service we received and want to give a huge shoutout to this CarMax for easing my car-buying anxiety.

Super easy transaction. Very clean. All the employees were friendly and welcoming, with masks and at a distance. They took some pictures of our vehicle and in a few short minutes, they had a very reasonable offer. I will definitely go back.
