St Tammany Parish Jail

A little chilly but the food ain't too bad. 1/5 stars would not recommend.

Dirty bathrooms and staff was rude and slow to get paper work completed..no respect for inmates family members

Best food in the town!! Just don't drop the soap!

I understand that this is a jail, but every time I call to get information I am spoken to like I am a current inmate. They talk down to you and treat you with no respect. I have had to snap back a few times because of the way the deputy was speaking to me. I will not be disrespected like that and the Sheriff needs to get a hold of these deputies that are working in that jail. Just because they work for the law does not make them above the law. I have spoken to very few there that have spoken to me with respect and answered all of my questions as if I wasn't a burden to them... other than those few, I have dealt with nothing but rude deputies. Please adjust this as I am a law abiding citizen and should be treated with respect... Every time I call in I am nothing but nice... but I do not receive the same in return.
