St. Tammany Parish Justice Center

Well run. Pretty intimidating building, it's very large. Houses many parish administrative functions besides criminal/civil courts. Nice landscaping around the building. The memorial on the grounds is also very beautiful.

The dupties and clerk's are very nice. But if you have court be prepared to stay there most of the day with one particular judge. This not the first time I have dealt or heard of this happening. My advice is to rent a room for those who live far away and for those who don't they should pack a lunch and be prepared to stay from the time it opens until it closes.

Fast and friendly government employees! I didn't think it was possible!nnI got my passport processed and my Marriage License from here! In both cases the workers were more than helpful with getting our paperwork together. They go above and beyond!

Reforms needed at family court . Lawyers take cases that can ruin family’s with only hearsay as evidence and a judge that allowed it to proceed without cause . People sentenced to have a permanent sadness and no consideration about the permanent emotonal distress that a child may have to endure . Review your ways and make changes to prevent harming anyone else . Investigate to ensure that you aren’t ruining lives over hearsay . Maybe the Supreme Court will one day not allow this to happen to others .

From the clerks in the basement to the judges' staff on the third floor, including all the deputies in-between, the public servants at this inviting, beautifully designed, and well maintained facility consistently provide assistance rivaling, if not exceeding, any local governmental complex to be found across the state of Louisiana. It is always delightful to take care of business in St. Tammany Parish!
