Black Bayou Observation Deck

Awesome little spot above the marsh to hang out and observe the environment. No seats or benches there, mind you, but there is a telescope you can use to look around. And it’s a covered deck, so you’re safe from the sun. Very easy to get to—once you’re off the road it’s all a boardwalk with no stairs but a slight incline. Would love to visit the lake again and maybe go fishing there. Also just further down the road is a point where you can get out and walk down to a nice covered photo blind that looks over a nice open area where you can watch or take photos of the birds and wildlife.
