Amazing night great memories Can't wait to do it again. All the employees were so friendly. Very relaxed comfortable atmosphere.....added the other photos ud83dude01 We got to meet the man himself and he was so nice and still so very cool ud83dude0e.
Pulled in at 4:30 pm, narrow one lane dirt road into campground ( not sure what we could do if a camper were leaving at the same time, trees on both sides. Checked into the store, very friendly people. 40.00 a night she said for hookups. No map given, no info on the park, nothing. Driving to the back of the property we had to squeeze in between two very close buildings on a curve, ( nail biter). Made it with one inch to spare. Parked it and had 30/50 amp options, but no water hookups, our neighbor had water but not us in #4. ( 40.00) was a bit steep. We set up and went to Walmart 11 miles away. This place is lit up pretty at night. We saw a sign that said open but not sure what the building was nor how to get to it, was it a bar? Restaurant? Did we miss an opportunity to do something tonight... we don’t know because no info was given. It’s morning now and raining for next few days, we are leaving today, hope we don’t get stuck in the mud or run into a rig on the way out. Just got a flash flood warning... great, we are surrounded by swamps on this property.
Very touristy spot with a lot of land but lacking the ability to route traffic into their new theater area efficiently. The overall experience was great, though, despite a few technical difficulties!
ud83cudf34I'm not to far,I have this spot saved but I drive truck & what I ud83dudcad think would be way cool is a spot here to take a 10 hour or a 35 hour break from semi driving all day long.I really think a parking spot here for rig's would be awesome.ud83eudd69nnMaybe a vip package for coffee & danish hand delivered by one of the Dukes or personal like a wake up call alarm to get rolling or just a snack with a surprise.ud83cudf2dnnI know you can bobtail here for a movie or two I know this but to be able to stay the night even for a ten hour break sneak cause you can't find a spot; super awesome like finding a Johnny Rockets or some goooood southern hospitality.ud83eudd65
From the natural beauty to the quirky details, the air of resilience and encouragement of making one’s dreams a reality with what one already has, John Schneider Studios is the most inspiring place I as an independent artist and weirdo have ever had the privilege to be. If you need a retreat, a break from the demands of the world, if you’re considering options for Harvest Hosts or airBnB, and you’re a little eccentric and open-minded, I encourage y’all to come dream here a spell.
