I love this Park. Not all are the same. No disrespect to the others but this one is maintained to a perfection. Almost like a private country club.nnI especially love the layout. The Baseball Diamonds are in one area. The Soccer fields far away in another and the Swimming Pools and indoor facilities far away at the main gate. This park is huge.nnIt has a nice vibe to it. Peaceful. Very American.nnKudos to an old friend of mine . Todd Graves who’s company “Canes Chicken Fingers” has made generous donations.nnAnd of course, thank you PARDS Parks and staff for making Livingston Parish a great place to live.

A great walking path that encircles a fishing pond, Canadian Geese tend to make their temporary homes here so be aware of their excrement lining the path. There is a small bridge of a drainage 'creek' and a secondary pond with no trodden path.nnThe park is also home to a protected bird species, the Purple Martins and has nesting areas set up in the park. Please do not get to close to them. It's off limits.nnThere is a roofed, open air congregation area with a family bathroom. Bathroom can be dirty sometimes. Their are multiple benches around the pond.

Big park lots of space a smaller area for little kids, big walking track, offers sports and recreational activities for youth. Also a smaller nice little water slide and mini water park. Reasonable rates

I usually go to the playground. My first time on the opposite side and it was pretty nice. Four stars because there was no toilet paper in the restroom by the tables, and the toilet was full of mess. The plumbing isn't strong or people are over using toilet paper. Needed a diaper changing table, but park visitors would probably abuse it anyway.

Pretty, clean park with lots of trees but they're spread out. Nice short paved walking paths that loop. One of the paths loop around a pond which has a pavillion next to it with steps leading down into the water. But the water is deep and there are signs saying it's unsafe to enter the pond.nnThere are also a few small bridges along the trail and paths acorss the park.nnThere are multiple decent sized fields for sports too.
