Montessori Educational Center

My children have been here since we moved from Houston 2 years ago. MEC is a wonderful community with caring, dedicated, and beyond skilled and knowledgeable teachers and staff. Many of the staff have or have had children at the school. Parents are eager and happy to be involved. It truly is a community dedicated to teaching children about self responsibility in their world (both large and small), self motivation, self praise, and the keys to their own success. From my now 5 year old down to my 2 year old, everyone is happy to go to school and excited to tell us about their day at the supper table. This is a true Montessori school with all the ideals that Maria Montessori exemplified.

I can not say enough about how amazing this school is. My daughter has always struggled with focusing and finishing her classwork, as well as making friends and being social. The teachers, and all the staff has work with her to help her grow in the places she was struggling and excel even further in the places she was not struggling. The head of school is outstanding with the students, being patient and kind as well as firm when needed. The teachers are well educated and well trained to teach the Montessori way. This post could go on forever so to put it in a nutshell, what my daughter is being taught at Montessori, and how they are teaching her will stick with her for the rest of her life, from the lessons they teach, to the way they handle every situation, she will have nothing less than the best experience, the best education, and the best life lessons from this school. Thank you to all the Montessori staff for giving my daughter her best chance!

My son attended MEC from kindergarten to 8th grade. I cannot say enough good things about this school and the teachers! They were like an extended family. My son thrived during his time here. Wish there was a highschool bc he would for sure attend!

We are so thankful for MEC. They are providing our children with the tools to guide their own success.
