Jerusalem Mediterranean Cuisine

I ordered the Lamb Shank last night. I ordered from menu online it said it was $18. When I got there they wanted to charge me $27. For it. Said they updated menu. Well that’s not my problem I was going by prices on-line. The young man was rude to me but the older lady was very nice and was worried about losing a customer so she let me have the dish for the on-line price although her daughter was screaming on speaker phone that I was lying hen I had it on my phone. I am Syrian and I had not had Kabohs and grape leaves in a very long time. My Sitties (grandmother in Syrian) was the best and these where not. The kabobs where highly salty and the grape leaves where like mush. The Lamb Shank had no flavor.. I will not be back . Meal was not worth $44.

WILL NOT BE RETURNING, the younger man and the older lady that were working last night were basically bickering with each other. I ordered a gyro/chicken plate and asked the guy if it came with hummus he told me no which I found strange but it was my first time eating there so I just told him to go ahead and add an order of hummus, he then asked me if I wanted pita bread or chips we asked for bread... now I never would have imagined they would charge you for the bread also it's usually included with the hummus..(I was also not informed he would charge us for the pita bread) my boyfriend ordered a gyro wrap, and we got an order of the kibbeh. (Which apparently is also individually priced) We asked about the lentil soup out of curiosity and he said not to worry about it he was gonna just give us a cup to try on the house while we waited for our food (he ended up charging us anyway). Upon checking our food in the car I open my gyro/chicken plate and to my surprise it does come with hummus so why tell us that it doesn't and then charge us for another order of hummus... Then he walks out to our car to ask us if he forgot to put the pita bread in the bag, he did so he went back inside and brought us the bread. Our total was almost $80 for 2 people and we ordered three things... I usually do not mind paying for good food but this was not it, when we got home the pita bread was stiff, and the amount of food they give you is definitely not worth the price.

Food was excellent and the portiins were huge. My wife and O both loved it very much.

Friendliest people and authentic delicious food. Best Mediterranean good I have ever had !!!! Family owned and it shows. Definitely recommend. Grape leaves are phenomenal!!!
