Food and service is great. I have only been a few times but enjoy it. They are practicing social distancing and mask wearing until you get to your table.
I Love the shrimp soup, cornbread, gumbo and my 9year old son loves the beans, sausage and rice, other than this, It would be nice if the Cottage would modernize itself, and update their menu.
The staff made my friend and I feel like they were eager for us to leave. We have been there many times before but this time, the food was not as good as in the past. I don't know if the owner is different or if it was a new cook on duty. Will not return during my next visit to Alexandria. ud83eudd37♀ufe0f
