Very disappointed, just bought a brand new mailbox that we paid them to paint. I sent my wife to go pick it up in my truck, they loaded it on its side on the bare metal bed of my truck and now its scratched. I wish someone would have been considerate enough to atleast place it on some cardboard or something.

Love all the folks @ John Ward. Always helpful and accommodating. Very knowledgeable staff. Great place to pick up quick things for around the house and exceptional gift selection.

This is the modern day time of the old time hardware store. It has just about everything you need for the season you are in and more. It is the more that I want to share with you. Mustard for grilling and yes they have that will make it taste like a Chilli Dog. Dot's pretzels the best I have had. And best for last, Swamp Pop. Oh, they have hardware too.

I was in Alexandria for a business trip and needed a few things for raffle prizes. I stop at John Ward Ace Hardware to look at their Yeti products and was very impressed with the service I received. The manager Allen Robertson was very helpful and made me (and ultimately the folks that won the prizes) very happy.
