I called around 10:45pm to see if my partner could get a ride home from a babysitting gig that would be ending at 11:30pm. The person that answered the phone assured me it would be no problem and had a driver contract me. From there, I sent the driver the pick up address and the final address. She called me to tell me she couldn’t pull it up on the map.. which was weird because I’ve never had anyone even remotely say they had trouble finding either address. Anyways, I give the woman mile markers, describe the neighbors car..I even text her a screen shot of the streets surrounding that address on the map. all that. Eleven thirty comes and goes and nothing. Driver calls me while I’m settling my son for bed. Call said driver back less than three minutes later to see what was up and if any further directions were needed. No response. Text her. No response. Spouse goes outside and waits... still no response from the driver and now he’s stuck at a clients house because the taxi service main line is now disconnected. My thing is, if getting a ride later in the night would have been an issue I really wish that would have been said with my initial call. That would have been fine and I could have found someone else. At this point nothing else is opened. Coming from someone that’s worked in customer service forever... this isn’t it.

So I have used this company just a few times and I have to just say since the first time Jordan out of the three Drivers I personally have rode with is amazing she’s super nice and just makes you feel like you’ve known her for a while lol I will say trever or trey I’m unsure which is actually his name due to the fact he told me both is nice and all but definitely very unprofessional while at circle k I glance to find him dosing off asleep doesn’t pay attention to the road and just is not safe

Be aware that Lyft and Uber are very scarce in Alexandria, pretty much non existent. I always thought cabs meant over charge but he has a different system. DDCS saved my butt from missing my flight. Scheduled a Lyft ride to the airport the day before. Woke up and nobody on the way to get me. After looking for other options I was on hold with the airline to reschedule. While on hold I call him and he just asks, where am I going and then how fast I need to be there? He showed up before I could even get downstairs and got me to the airport fast. During the ride we had a great conversation and he’s a real nice guy. Best part was that it cost me the same as Lyft was charging me and less than Uber would’ve if they ever had a driver. I learned even if you schedule way in advance Lyft is not guaranteed.

I always thought taxi cab drivers was just a business. Until I met designated driver taxi. They really care about the people and not just the money. I was I would advise anybody to call them for a ride if needed. They get you there on time and safe thanks guys. I will be riding with y'all from now on.
