Lake Charles East / Iowa KOA Journey

Loved it, needed a safe place stop to rest & regroup. Laundry room is big & clean. The shower rooms are spacious & super clean. The staff was nanna & papa nice which was just the cherry on top after long travels. Train nearby but not really loud & can’t hear much of I10 from our site. All sites are large , paved & level. We will definitely come through again ❤ufe0f

Yes, it’s plain. No, it isn’t a resort. But 5 stars from me because it’s exactly what I needed. One night stopover while driving across the state. Easy off I-10. Small fenced area for my dogs to stretch & run . Well lit, paved sites. Quick check in. There will be noise from the train nearby but - doesn’t bother me.

Unfortunately due to truck issues we were not able to make it to this location. We had contacted the office and talked to Mark. He was able to cancel the reservation without a cancelation fee. We wish would been able to stay here but life happens and thanks to people like Mark it makes life less stressful.

I live fulltime in camper and have been to many RV parks around Louisiana, this is by far one of the best parks that we have stayed at. Easy access to the sites, facilities always kept clean, paved sites, was a must for me due to rain, and the customer service is by far the BEST we've ever had!

Very large, level asphalt sites. Great nighttime lighting. Friendly staff. Well kept grounds, nice fenced dog park, clean bathrooms. Easy on & off I-10.
