Cons: my friend caleb was decapitated in this waterpark, by the tallest water slide in the world. There should have at least been tracks on the water slide, so the rafts don't fly off.nPros: Verrukt, when it was open was a awesome water slide. Very thrilling ride. All the places in this park are the best. Idk why it has a 3.5 review. It should have a 5.nnI would love to go back on Verruckt, if it is opened again, in a safer way. Unfortunately, this place is becoming a sports complex. Hopefully, the future development areas will be full of water slides and pools. One of the baseball fields here should be named after caleb schwab. Although August 7th 2016 was the first time I ever saw my friend injured, that was a accident. It was tragic, but water slides in the water park is what really matters most. That is why with cons, this is getting a 5 star review

I loved this park. I am so sad that it isn't opening up this year. Oceans/Worlds of fun was such a let down. It was filthy and small. Schlitterbahn was THE PLACE to go. I wish we would have known it wasn't opening this year. Any news would have been nice, instead I just keep hoping they're opening late for the season.

Awesome place, the employees were very nice and helpful, it's a bit on the pricier side, but I'd say worth it. And as for people concerned because of the accident, none of the rides that are still open are dangerous at all. It was also a VERY clean place. Even the toilets were extremely clean.

Great way to spend the weekend. It's pricey but well worth it. Go for the 2 day value pass because it won't be possible to experience all the attractions included in just 1 day. We bought a 1 day but they let us upgrade to a 2 day pass before closing. I really appreciated that our 2 1/2 year old was free. It helped us out. We tried out the buffet and it was delicious. It was just about $5 more than the concession food served in other parts of the grounds. We came from Dallas for Memorial Day weekend and expected long lines but that was not the case. Our 6 and 2.5 year old loved it. We'll definitely come back in a couple of years.

I don’t think this park will reopen. The tragedy of 2016 and bad publicity have pretty much killed it off. If only people could be honest in their business practices and do things right and see to the safety of their guests, they would never have gotten in this mess. By the way, Oceans of Fun is only 20 minutes away if you want a good water park experience that’s clean, fun and safe.
