Conrad & Viola McGrew Nature Preserve

Love to walk this path before picking my son up from school. Have seen owls and all sorts of other birds and one really large black (rat) snake. Lots to see on this short walk.nnI see that someone else also finds this trail hard to locate. I find it easiest to enter the trail at the north end which is off of Inverness Dr down the hill west of the Quail Run Elementary school. I generally park by the road by the school playground (on weekdays) or at the school (on weekends).

Wanted to walk here, but could not find trailhead. Neighborhood signs all prohibited parking. Disappointed and wonder how to access the trail?

Very nice trail. Several neat bridges over the little creek. Parking is kind of bad though.

Nice little 1/2 mile stroll

been pretty much the same for 20+ years, the crossings are different, and so are the women who run there, but it's a juvenile memory for me that is largely the same, easy path, fewer hooligan children
