Broken Arrow Park

A nice secluded park in Southeast Lawrence. There is a little bit from everyone here; covered structures for a picnic or celebratory gathering, benches, walking paths, athletic fields, and even playground equipment. There are accessibility-friendly parking spaces and paved walkways. A great park to studying outdoors without being disturbed!

This park has walking and bike trails adjacent a play area and picnic seating the park is small but so quiet and peaceful some people drive there just to eat in their cars I like to take my dog there and walk the scenery is pretty the park is very clean and close to shopping areas

New swings and sidewalks are a great addition to the park. Playground equipment seems newer and in good condition. Open air eating spaces seem plentiful with good spacing for social distancing. Plus it's only a few blocks away from the Runza restaurant for a nice place to sit and eat outside. Gaga Ball pit is a fun addition with a history I just learned about beyond Bob's Burgers...lol.

Perfectly good park with benches, swings and playgrounds, and large shelters for big groups. I think one of the city's paved walking paths goes right through the park, too. But, if you just want a small picnic table on your own, there aren't many options.
