Fun activity for the family. Plenty to do. Historical Site near by. Parking is a tight squeeze so be careful. Great way to remember parking area is by bird names. Tower was breath tasting and the caves cool. Price wise reasonable, around $35.00 for adult a,round trip $20 for child. Photographic moments every turn. Staff was polite and courteous
We really enjoyed our tour. Our guide, Desiree, was excellent! The elevator ride was smooth and quick, and once you get down there the views are amazing. The video was really well put together as well. My wife and I haven't been in years and it was nice to see the updates. We will be back!
1100 ft underground and I didn't expect to see that.
The fall itself and the story behind it is.really cool. However, when you go to places like this you are paying for an experience. The tour guide didn't really give a good back ground outside of the short video that was played. Need to work on more local stories and a little more entertaining tour. Then, when you get to the falls, they rush you through with little time for pictures. I understand everyone needs a little time to take pics, but to turn the lights off while someone is taking pics when there was no one else waiting was pretty crappie of the tour guide.
If you go, go for the lantern tour, and request Bo as your guide. He's awesome. He's funny, and keeps the tour interesting. If you do go during the day, try to avoid Savannah as your guide. She has absolutely NO personality. Our first meeting of her was her greeting the elevator attendant with a nasty story about one of the members that was on our tour. The first actual greeting from her came when everyone was there. The scenery is beautiful, but Savannah definitely needs some more training in the hospitality industry.
