Fairyland Caverns in Rock City Gardens on Lookout Mountain is an awesome dreamlike experience that transports you to another world and dimension. I really like how everything is arranged with the lighting and glow in the dark florescent paint. It is a living fairytale world that is meticulously crafted and detailed and cool to be a part of. This is one of my favorite parts of Rock City Gardens.

Every niche had a different story to tell. I liked guessing the nursery rhymes or fairy tales for each tableau. My son liked the phosphorescent glow of the ever changing lights. It does have a dark and slightly creepy grotto feel to it, so if you don't like enclosed spaces, avoid this area of Lookout Mountain. But it's a good place to cool down if the day is hot, and an amusing way to end the day at Rock City.

Love this place. The kids want to come back already. Worth our 6 hour drive and hotel stay

Fairyland Caverns is Located inside Rock City gardens. It is home to figurines of gnomes, fairytale characters, and characters from children's books. It is towards the end of the self guided walking tour. Following the exit from the caverns, you have circled back to the begining of the walking tour to enter the gift shop
