I would normally give this place 5 stars because the food is always so good. Never have had a bad food day. But on this particular day, our service was not on top of things like it normally is. We've always had excellent service and never had to ask for food or drink. They always just go ahead and refill us. On this day, our empty bowls sat and we had to ask for everything we needed. I asked for a bowl of chicken crisps and they were never brought. This seemed to be a lazy server and this restaurant is definitely not the place for laziness. I love this restaurant and I will definitely will be back. Maybe management needs to give the servers a pep rally. Thank you.

We've been coming to Bea's since I was little bitty. We haven't eaten here in about 7 years and we finally got the chance today. I'm happy to say, it's just as delicious as it's always been. Fantastic food, and our waitress was amazing and super sweet. If you love classic southern home cooking, you need to try Bea's. Even my picky hubby said it tasted just like his great grandma's cooking. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Very old staple of Chattanooga. REAL Grandmas style country cooking, NOT country cooking straight from a can. This is one of my favorite places to eat and may actually take the #1 slot on my list. For a stick to your ribs meal, Bea’s can’t be beat! The fried chicken & pinto beans are out of this world. Great catfish fillets on Fridays only. Oh did I mention it’s all you can eat?
