Dodged a bullet this year by filing online at TurboTax. I had heard that this place gave off more prejudice vibes than a crackerbarrel but I filed with them for years anyway but this year they really pushed me over. Mind you every year we paid around 700 to file with my mom's taxes making up most of those fees and by no means are we rich we get refunds every year. We walked into that office trying to set up an appointment and were immediately met with passive aggressiveness regarding walking in without an appointment already scheduled...there was no line and masks were being worn by us(covid guidelines couldn't have been the reason for the hostility) we continued to deal with the woman up front and she was making us schedule days we couldn't come in on a d each of us had to come in on separate days. I took over talking for my mother as this woman was just bullying her into these meetings and I told her to cancel all the appointments and that I'd file online. And I did...for free and my mom paid just over 100 on TurboTax only because of her complicated taxes this specific year. Saved tons not using h&r and this specific place. Don't respond to this asking me to seek your customer service I don't need a reminder as to why my color called for such horrid services. Woman yelled at me and lost her case because she couldn't hear me and I pulled it down to simply speak clearly to her. Had she been a male I would've lost my stuff right then and there. We had shown nothing but respect.

The customer service here is a joke. They don't know much about their emerald card and no ones been able to help me. They advise me to call the number on the card but its gets me no where. I asked for a new card and they tell me its going to be the same outcome. Why would you use a bank your workers have no clue about ? I will no longer be using them for my taxes or anything related to them.
