Long Ridge Campground

This is a gem of a place nestled in a wooded valley. It is primarily a place for long term residency, but there are a few spots for shorter stays. Beautifully managed, lots of friendly residents. Follow the facility rules (all are reasonable), and you'll get along with everyone just fine. Close to town and a large lake. Looking forward to my second stay here!

Great place to stay long-term, beautifully keep, tree's,and a pond with with small fish,bass,couple of carp and a couple of turtles,one may fish the pond,but, it is catch and release only, which is nice,,but for a fisher person who wants to keep what one catches there is lake chatuge,the hiawassee river,and with in a 20 minutes drive there is the taccoa river and lake blue ridge,down in blue ridge Georgia,on the border of north Carolina and Georgia are a few lakes and streams and rivers,such as nantahala,and the creeks the feed into,the area is a joy to see at this time of year,the leaves changing color,the nights are soft and peaceful,the sky is gorgeous,come and enjoy the top of the blue ridge mountains,ud83eudd85ud83dudc1fud83cudfa3ud83dudc63ud83dude0e

The campground is a Gem in the mountains beautiful clean organized !

When my travelling job had me scheduled in Hiawassee, I was thrilled to find this affordable, secluded and beautiful campground! The woman who answered the phone to help me complete my reservation was warm and friendly, and gave me my site location and specifics about anenities.nnUnfortunately less than one week before my reservation, my work rerouted me and I was forced to cancel my much anticipated weekebd in the mountains. Long Ridge Campground worked with me and made a difficult and stressful change of plans much more bearable with their flexibility and positive demeanor. Their customer service is impeccable and they truly treat visitors like a longtime friend. I'm heartbroken that I could not stay, but I cannot wait until I can visit again!
