Parts of it we're closed the boyhood Farm was a self walkthrough which was nice to look at but it wasn't what I expected and I was a little disappointed. However it is nice to know that there is one politician in the United States that lives where he grew up and is still true to his beliefs and upbringing in that he is still a humble. There is one presidential family that walks the walk and talks the talk and is not overblown inflated and putting on airs. A few politicians and a few families that I know could definitely learn a few things. Even though it wasn't what I expected and was disappointed in what was there is nice to know that the chickens and their eggs go to the president's table the garden vegetables go to the table as well the town doesn't put on Airs it's simple humble and down to earth. My disappointment may have been because I was expecting this Grand Affair like so many other presidents have and instead I found down to earth simple and humble which isn't bad and as I said some people can take note being true to who you are being true to the land in the people that you represent is a good thing

The Jimmy Carter Boyhood Farm is a peaceful, beautiful, and quiet place to visit. I love walking around the grounds and through the house. Stop by sometime and sit on the front porch!

Enjoyed walking around the small town of Plains, GA to see many places important to the life of Jimmy Carter. Town and museums made you feel like you are back in that time period.

Today is March 15, 2021...Museum has been closed since March 18, 2020.nNo consistency throughout the National Park service. Some parks / museums are open, then you drive 20 miles and the next one is closed.nAll businesses in Plains are open, there is NO reason for this museum to be closed.nThe Dept of Interior needs to take care of these problems. The park employees are all being paid....what are they doing, with all of their free time.nVery disappointed in our National park service.
