Excellent service and very fresh food! This may be the best Mexican restaurant I have been to in a while! Not especially fancy, but very nice.

Food so good even snakes want it! I'm eating my dinner and apparently a local garter snake heard about how good the food was and decided to check it out. He was waiting near the exit door when a guy left. The guy tried to stop the snake from entering by stepping on him. This made the snake angry so it rushed in and under the table next to me.nnThe table adjacent to me had a group of Rabun County EMS members and a Clayton policeman. The female EMS jumped to the rescue and saved the snake from the panicking snake stomping man. This also saved the rest of the restaurant from freaking out because a three foot snake came in. When the EMS lady came back in, the snake had bitten her. This probably happened because the man had stepped on it. I'm sure one day the EMS lady will be telling her grandchildren about how when she was younger she saved a Mexican restaurant from a vicious snake attack--or perhaps maybe not.nnGenerally snakes just want to be left alone and are harmless. This one just wanted to try some Mexican food. He has been escorted out back and after being stepped on probably won't be back.nnAnyway, I had the Texas fajitas for dinner. They were good and a generous portion. Often at other places when you get Texas fajitas you are get three shrimp. My plate had seven. The chips were nice and crunchy and not all greasy like some places. The cheese dip and salsa had good flavor. Service was good and friendly.
