I am a combat disabled veteran rated at 100% disability. I am trying to get my homestead exemption. I went to the Georgia department veteran services, they told me all I needed was my 100% disability and DD-214. But when I presented my documents to the tax assessor they would not expect them and requested other documents the employe was rude. I called VA and department of revenue to double if there are any other requirements that's all that is required.I will give a update when the problem is solved.nnProblem solved the next day.

Rabun County, Georgia is a beautifulnplace. I have visited Wolffork Valley all my life. My fourth great grandfather, John Dillard, first saw the beautiful valley during the Revolutionary War. He went home and moved his family to the beautiful Rabun County.nDorothy Hopper O'Quinn
