Awesome, cutting grass/ leaves found my LR tire kept going flat. I took both off, threw them in the car drove over to Pomp's not knowing if the they could or would do lawn tractor tires or how much it would cost. I walked in door with dead tire & someone came from an office ready to help, sent me to the counter, while he walked my tire around to the service area. When he came back & assured me it would be taken care of then I asked if they could do other (as preventive) he said sure- he went & got other from my car, took it to the service area. He came back in told me 2 guys were working on my 2 tires they'd be done quick, then engaged me in small talk about mowers etc.. Everyone was very nice, very helpful, price was pretty decent too.
The driver of 3116 is an awesome driver! That guy needs a raise for being a good driver, safe, and courteous. He could have caused another accident on I-94/41 but he was paying attention and avoided it without cutting any other vehicles off and not holding traffic up anymore than it already was. I had a tire that kept losing pressure so I took it to a local shop that said they couldn't do it because of the size of the rim. They recommended pomps tire service to me. I called them and they said it would be about an hour and a half before they could get to it but they got me in sooner and replaced my valve stem. It was extremely cheap and the chairs in the waiting room were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend them.
Fantastic service!nAfter an issue was discovered the day before Independence Day with my RV tires, Herschel juggled his inventory and got me in right away. I sincerely appreciate him and his guys going above and beyond to take care of me and get me in and out quickly so my kids vacation wasn't ruined because of my oversight!
Truck drivers beware! (Pertaining mostly to those with sleeper berths.) LOOK at this location on Google Maps before delivering. The truck entrance onto Pomp's property is off of Lincoln and they will even tell you this, but once you arrive, you discover that you are in a tiny, cramped place and you are (facing) the docks. You are left trying to figure out how to do a 3 point, backing turnaround in a very small parking lot amongst random cars and equipment. The employees can't be bothered to assist, they can't even comprehend the differences in turning radius's for trucks with sleeper berths versus day cab local delivery trucks which is pretty typical of the ignorance shown towards truck drivers and the intricacies of our profession shared by most of the general public as a whole. Judging by the reviews, Pomp's knows how to satisfy their customers, which is a good thing, unfortunately that same level of courtesy does not seem to extend to the random truck drivers delivering to this location, that is unless they are daycab regulars. Thank you to the Irish gentleman driver who went out of his way to watch my clearances as I was backing that helped me get turned around.
