Just awesome food, and a laid back atmosphere. We pulled up in a rented boat, into the wrong pier. Good thing for us that it wasn't a busy day and we weren't kicked out.nThey have their own two dock pier, so look for that.nAnyway, the lunch we got for takeout while on the lake was amazing! Burgers were perfect, and everything was delicious! Absolutely try this place if you're at Lake Hartwell and looking for a relaxed meal.

My husband and I stayed in Hartwell for my family reunion in Royston. We're from NC. The clerk at our hotel recommended the grill. So glad he did. Food was great. Atmosphere was nice. They had live music start by the time we were about done eating. So. We stayed just a little longer. The server we had was very nice, polite, attentive. If I lived in Hartwell. I'd be another regular. Next reunion. We'll definitely be there again. Thank you Boat House Grill.

Friendly very relaxed place. Open air so you are dependant on temperature for comfort level. Servers are very nice. The Philly cheese sandwich is my favorite. Also the burgers are large and hubby said very good. The catfish was not a favorite in our group. Beer was cold but only plastic glasses. All in all a fun place to go especially by boat. Thursday night live music by local favorite John Atkinson.
