Happened to be in the area, stopped by and purchased a Tailgate special. Fries were perfect, just cooked nicely with just the correct amount of salt. The chicken tenders are excellent, nicely breaded and fried to perfection. The tailgate comes with a gallon of sweet, and it was cold! Portions were generous, and the food was packed well. There was a bit of a wait, but nothing extremely long, and they were busy. Staff were efficient, and prices were very reasonable. Comparing to their competition, the prices were outstanding. I would travel to Guthrie's again, it was nice.

I'll give them another try in the hopes this visit was just a fluke, but the chicken fingers were small, dry, and very little taste. Definitely not the same fingers I looked forward to whenever I was in Athens years ago.

I've been looking forward to trying out Guthries and did today and I was not disappointed, I ordered a sandwich and I went down to the lake to enjoy it and it was delicious! Hot sauce was added 4 a kick...A+

Its more taste preference than anything. I'm not a sweet fan, more salty and og taste preference and their chicken has a sweet taste that I just didn't like. The menu options are SMALL. I've never been to a Guthrie's restaurant before so I didn't know what to expect. Theres chicken strips or a chicken sandwich.. the menu for shirts is larger than the food menu. The fries were good. The lady over the intercom was a little rude, but I think that's becoming normal, unfortunately, at a lot of places
