I've been a couple times each time the steak was good. Price is questionable but it's an upscale restaurant for a small town which is nice too have. Four stars is fair for the food I've eaten from there i need to try burger I've heard it was good.
Being a former steak chef, my expectations tend to be higher but Chicago Steakhose blew them out of the water. Our filets were superbly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and served sizzling off the grill. The staff was attentive, the bar selection ample, and dessert was Heavenly. This is a place you don't want to miss.
Well service was very good. There were 9 in our party with 5 of us ordering the filet. 3 of the steaks were perfect, one was raw and one was cooked to shoe leather. All were ordered medium. The incinerated steak was sent back to kitchen for new one, raw one was cooked longer, returned maybe medium rare. Replacement steak was more over cooked than the first.. Now most establishments would comp meal after scewing it up twice.....not here! Not sure I would go back!
Excellent service. Steaks were cooked to perfection and tender. Atmosphere is just as good as the food. Will dine here more often
Food is good but way over priced. They take full advantage of Hartwell basically not having a steak house to compete. You be better off getting a steak elsewhere for the price they charge for so little of food
