I can appreciate any masjid in our area that has true understanding of Islam, is diverse, and everyone feels welcome regardless of cultural backgrounds.nnUnfortunately, this is not so common in the Gwinnet Co area or North Fulton area, yet this masjid has that welcoming feel. Madina Institute also allows the opportunity for focus on learning Deen, worship and spiritual growth in an Islamic environment.nnNo community is perfect, and I've visited many in the metro Atlanta area, but Madina is in my opinion, an ideal community. May Allah preserve it, and continue to bless the muslimoon, Aameen.

Great active community in Ramadan. Youth are always encouraged to come. A lot of programs through out the week for everyone wheather you're advanced or a novice. The Imam is very active and progressive, but outside of Ramadan you won't see him often because he is usually traveling.

Mashallah.great place to worship. (....removed comment.....) But just be Muslim United not divided into sects. (.....Removed comment....)...Allah knows what is in your intentions. Life is for Allah only. Allah is the best and only guidance. The congregation is the best in Atlanta.

I have been coming to this Mesjid for the last five years. I love everything about this mesjid especially in Ramadan. I can only speak for my self from my experience. What happen in the sister room is very unfair. The first two or three raw it’s impossible to pray. A group of people reserve the place for their people. In my opinion, mesjid is for everyone. Every one can go on pray whatever place they found. It’s not the case in Medina mesjid. I drive 30 to 45 minutes to come to Medina. When I tried to sit in the front or second raw, ohh some one is coming and hold the spot. Last night, a lady next to me ask me to go to another and just ignored her start praying. She was pushing me to the point I couldn’t pray, I like the Imam, the Quran, and the Hadith, but very disappointed about how they treat people. I am not a sheikh, I don’t think it is right. I tried to share my concern, but no one is resolving it.

I have been praying in this Mosque for a few years. Especially in Ramadan you can feel the spirituality and the oneness. I would give 5 stars if place a bit more orgnaized during big crowds. Over all two thumps up.
