While visiting, I like to find good local places and this was a great find! Good down home place, based on the server seeming to know regulars in there for dinner. Board with the specials give you a meat and 3 sides and you can't go wrong with mashed potatoes and gravy, fries okra, greens, pineapple casserole and the fried squash. There is also a menu with a lot of good choices. Everything tasted great. The service was fast and friendly. CASH ONLY (or check, but we don't carry our checkbook).
Excellent southern cooking! The prices are great, the service friendly and great food cooked when you order. We thoroughly enjoyed our country ham and biscuits breakfast. Definitely going back soon.

I expected a local diner to have scrumptious home cooking and friendly service, but NOT. Arrived just after 2 and we felt unwelcomed. They were out of all the specials of the day and menu items that we ordered were absolutely distasteful. The service was rushed and snippy, as though a break was interrupted.
