Great sushi in Ellijay and creative cocktails. Enjoyed the Pacifico roll and the Spicy Tuna was on point. Scott is a terrific server who guides you through an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend for a delicious, healthy and fun meal after a hike or bike ride.

Amazing experience with my fiancee! We have been having to drive to Atlanta for the longest time for good sushi. Kasei is not only refreshing but has some of the best sushi rolls I have ever eaten. Highly recommend the Fuji mountain roll and the Godzilla roll. Strongly recommend the sake they offer with a meal. The master sushi chef is very talented and has started a restaurant that is here to stay. We will be regulars here guaranteed.

We arrived on a Thursday night. Only 2 other tables in play. Truly enjoyed the appetizer and server pleasant and attentive but 20 minutes after finishing our appetizer the sushi chef had disappeared. He reappeared and had another 15 minute conversation with the server. By then we were flabbergasted that our order had not even been started on. We called the server over and asked if our order had been started. She said no so we asked for our check and went elsewhere to eat. A few minutes later we saw the same sushi chef at the bar we were eating at?!? Might have good sushi but service was so weird that we won't be back.

I am so excited that this place has joined downtown Ellijay’s restaurants. I’ve been coming here with my family my whole life, and I am thrilled to have a fantastic sushi place in town. My boyfriend and I just had the best date night we’ve had in a long time at Kasei. The sushi, appetizers, and drinks are all delicious. The service goes above and beyond. The atmosphere is totally unique. I cannot recommend the restaurant enough.

Good sushi and sake but they forgot one of our orders and from what I could hear from the table next to us it wasn’t an isolated mistake. We also waited 2 hours for four rolls while the chef was freaking out that he couldn’t keep up with four tables.
