I got my food super fast after ordering and the staff was really nice. I deducted stars for the dirty grills. I got a Philly and the grills must have been filthy because there was black gunk on the styrofoam from where the spatula touched it. If the spatula is leaving gunk on things, it's time to clean the grill.
Why anyone would prefer those huge hormone filled wings is beyond me! The day they stop selling the small wings here will be my last time patronizing the restaurant. First, consistency, A+. Second, had bad fried rice, I complained once, they fixed it immediately, A+. Third, new menu options are clutch wings, rice and fries is my jam. Fourth, I don't like paying for extra sauces (that's anywhere). Fifth, they gotta do something about that smell! This is the ONLY American deli I go to! That says it all. And they're the only place with the OG cherry Fanta the new Coke machines eeveryone else rolled out had it tasting horrible. I just went there and they are giving out 2 sauces for 20 wings. Edited my rating! Do better!
I love American Deli. The wings are great and this trip I tried the tilapia and was pleasantly surprised. It had nice flavor and was cooked perfectly. This trip to Atlanta we are here at least 3 times. I wish they had a location in Illinois.
I just love the Lemon Pepper Wingsand shrimp fries rice
