My parents were looking for a camper to live in temporarily as their home was destroyed by a tornado and must be renovated. They found a camper they liked and gave Wayne a deposit so the camper wouldn't be sold while they waited on the bank to get with them about financing. The check they gave Wayne was cashed before my parents heard anything from the bank regarding financing and prior to Wayne knowing for sure they would be purchasing the travel trailer. They requested their deposit back after the bank informed them the camper was not worth the asking price. Wayne refused to give the money back. Wayne also told my mother (in my presence) that they would help with set-up of the camper. The following day, his story changed and they were no longer able to help with set-up. Wayne is supposedly selling campers as a hobby during retirement; however, he took full advantage of my parents and has $500 to show for it.
