We bought take out from here for the first time last night, but it will for sure not be the last time! Excellent food seasoned just right, generous portions, reasonable prices, and warm friendly service. I grew up in Alabama, and so I know good southern cooking. You can trust me on this: these folks know what they're doing!

There is someone controlling the number of customers that enter. That was important for me.nThere food was good. I didn't care for the rib tips because I was hoping for the smokey BBQ taste... I couldn't tell if the meat was baked or steam! I got 4 for $8.00 in a large cup!? Overall it's ok.

Stopped by this place....the reviews I read got me. I got fried pork chop dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans. I got a plate for the hubby meatloaf, yams and Mac and cheese. My plate.... pork chop was cooked the way I like them crispy done but they forgot to season it or only seasoned the flour. The mashed potatoes were awesome! The string beans/green beans were over over over cooked almost a mash. The cornbread muffins were good. Like jiffy and real mixed together. Lemonade was good. Hubby said meatloaf was good and had vinegar taste but the yams were ok he said the were really soft. He didn’t eat his corn muffin. I really want to try the turkey wings and dressing but I read a review that it was sweet. I really wanted to like!

Absolutely amazing! Saw a YouTuber get food from here and had to try for myself. Took my family here for Sunday dinner and everyone was satisfied!!! I had the turkey wings which were utterly delectable and my uncle had the rib tips which he enjoyed just as much. I also threw in a side order of oxtails; I hadn’t had them in years and these did not disappoint either!!! From service to food quality and taste everything was amazing!!

Very clean, friendly & fast service. Great potions & everything is consistently delicious & well seasoned, never over cooked. This is my favorite soul food restaurant in metro-Atlanta.
