Is it the best food? I don’t think so. It’s good. I tend to enjoy the soups at a higher appreciation than the sandwiches or salads. If your craving soup it’ll definetly hit the spot.nnWhat I absolutely love about them, however, is that if they open in your neighborhood, they become a positive light in the community. I was blown away when i saw they were giving away free lunch to federal workers during the shutdown. Who does that?!? Souper Jenny does. This company acts with purpose and care; with heart and soul. Souper Jenny acts with integrity. For the soup, and all the reasons i listed, I’ll continue to support her business and mission.

Stopped by for an early Saturday lunch. Turkey chili is amazing! Not spicy, tons of flavor, hearty but soupy... Go good! Only second to their Cabot white cheddar grilled cheese. Whatever bread they are using is delicious by itself. Best lunch spot in town! If there were 6 stars, I would vote that.

What a delicious lunch! The cold weather outside and lines at another brunch place drove us this way, and we're sure glad we came in here. Made from scratch (and clearly with love!), lunch combos of tomato basil soup and grilled cheese opened my sinuses right up. Walking through and smelling their soups was the first thing I had smelled in days (due to my cold). The staff is so kind and genuine, and made us feel so welcome as if we were eating at a friend's house. The food filled me up, and definitely hit the spot.

Very cute place in Decatur. Everyone working there super nice. I tried the beef stew and it was just what I needed on that cold day.

The chili here is something to remember. There is such a variety of soups and chilis. If you thought chili was good and haven't been here you haven't tried real chili or soup. If you ever run by this place get the chili or soup of the day. Doesn't matter what it is but I guarantee it will be amazing.
