On the map, this park seemed like a boring grass rectangle crammed into the mission district. It was so much better in person. The surrounding streets are steep and hilly, and so is the park. You can get a great view of the city and the bay at the top. Tip: visit in the morning, it's way less crowded!
Good places to take the young ones. Some of the areas needs a little more tender love and care, but overall nice and clean.
Drink beer, eat mexican food and hang out.nI love people watching here with my friends on sunny days. Banana Beach, Hipster Hill and Dog River. There is no better crossroads of people in the city. Plus, I once saw Tory from Mythbusters here. Awesome!
Clean. Lots of stuff for the dogs to play on. Other owners and dogs here are nice and friendly. Great place for canine interaction.
Goodall Dog Park was great. They have a fenced yard for small dogs and one for big dogs. There is only one doggie water fountain which is in the big dogs yard. I would bring my own water. Our dogs throughly enjoyed themselves. Turn at Barneys Pharmacy to get there.
