Level 1 Barbershop

Today was my first time in this barbershop. The atmosphere was pleasant. They have TVs and music playing. There are a good number of barbers and there were still a few people waiting. That tells me something good about the quality of a shop! Extra kudos for the barbers having ring lights....attention to the details!!

I went in around 10 am yesterday on the 1st and was greeted by a barber who seemed more annoyed that I was there than anything. I didn’t mind, I just needed a haircut. I told him a medium skin fade with a razor edge and a trim on the top, relatively standard military haircut. He puts me in the chair and proceeds to go roughly 1 inch up past my ears and then slightly fade it in there. He then stops and tells me I’m good. I asked if he was going to trim the top to which he again seemed annoyed. I sat back down and he took a comb and some clippers and literally took the ends off of the side of my head. So he never took the blade to the edges and called it good. He then took my debit card and I ended up paying $36.50 for him cutting almost no hair off at all. I know it was $30 for a razor edge, which I didn’t get, so this guy charged me a $5-10 tip for nothing. I would give this place 0 stars honestly.

I took my sons, age 12 and 4, following a horrible experience at the barbershop at the Augusta mall. The haircuts were horrible. The barbers at Level 1 were able to salvage the haircuts and my sons were treated respectfully and the barbers were friendly. You can tell they care about the quality of their work. They made sure we were happy with the cuts before we left. This will be our barbershop.

Great Service and atmosphere. Would recommend to all my buddies. Looking forward to my next visit.
