I am a sixth grader at M.D. Roberts and the school year so far has been awesome, my teachers are great and the lessons are amazing too. I really do recommend that you send your child to this school. Also I'm in the magnet band program which is awesome as well and we are have a concert coming up with orchestra. But they also have other things that you could audition for to be in magnet such as chorus, drama, art, and orchestra, and band. Either way this school is awesome so i highly recommend it.
I'm a 7th grader right now and I love this school. I'm on the magnet team. The school is really awesome. The teachers here are really friendly. They are also funny to. They like to make jokes. Food there is really nasty. But they have a kind of good cost for the vending machine. The bathrooms are sometimes nasty. I'm in the fine arts program. The program that I am in is Art. There are also magnet classes: Theatre, Chorus, Dance, Orchestra, and Band. We also go to really fun and educational field trip. So, if I were you I would let my child go here!!! :D
I'm an 8th grader now at MD in the magnet band program. I have all honors classes and I'm an all A student and to be completely honest with you this a extremely extraordinary school. It has many different academic and athletic opportunities and gives you experiences to new things you never thought possible. The staff is truly great and they love what they do. I truly recommend this school for any parent trying to encourage their child to do big things and get into performing arts. This is a truly invigorating experience!!!
This school is disgusting and trash. Do not recommend at all. I am in 6th grade and I have mr spikes and u dont want to end up with him. He gets mad for no reason. He called my friend parents because she dropped her pencil. He sends u to silent lunch for no reason at all. he also doesnt teach and just gives bookwork to us with about 5 assignments a day. Ms coughman is also bad but i dont have her. I only recommend this school if your going to magnet because the school treats the magnet kids as if there better. They have a part of the school just for them and it is clean and fancy. My gym teacher coach poiston is disgusting. I have had him the entire year for health and pe and he still cant pronounce my name and my name isn't diffucult. the lunch is nasty. The only good food is the chicken and ranch and cucumbers. The assistant principal mr wade is terrible. The principal ms stevens is actually ok. The best class i have is science with ms rainey since she expands our curriculum and ms harris. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AND U HAVE BETTER READ THIS WHOLE THING BEFORE YOU THINK ABOUT SENDING UR KIDS HERE!!
I am a 7th grader at MD Roberts. It is horrible !!!! The teacher go off on the students and they are always catching attitudes with us. The lunch is packaged meat. They give us cold food and our hambuger buns be wet. There are fights every other day. The teacher even fight the students. Some of the 6 and 7 graders bring weed to school and smoke in the bathroom. DONT MAKE A MISTAKE AND BRING YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can not wait to leave and finish this school. It is roaches on the wall.
