At buses in the morning they let the car people sit were they want on the car side and on the bus side we have to basically sit on top of one another and there is still the other half of the bleachers left. When we are released to go to homeroom car goes first and we have to wait till they all of the car people leave.nnWe have trailer classes so we have to walk out side when it is freezing cold, poring rain & etc.nnSome of the teachers are really nice.nnOne of the only things keeping me here are my friends.

this school is horrible. its probably the poorest school in cherokee county. the teachers are rude and some are racist. sum of the teachers can’t teach which decreases my ability if learning. i advise you to not come to this school.

I am an 8th grade student at Mill Creek Middle School. The classes really cover the curriculum. The treatment from the other student is not as good as it could be, but as there is a new vice principal, I believe that these could be handled. I am currently earning 2 high school credits before I even enter high school! I love it there, and it is a great school.

I don't particularly care about the office staff and believe they are not involved enough. I know middle school is not always easy, however it is the choice they made to work at the grade level. I'm not able to give them any more than a 3 due to their lack of concern. I believe most of the staff drops or passes the ball as soon as it lands. I will say, the Counselor's, however did impress me and showed concern. I believe it was a little too late in the game and not often about the best interest of the child. This school and staff remind me of being in school, playing favorites, chatting behind your back, smiling to your face and nosey as can be about your personal life or rather everyone else in the family. I will not be happy when my 2 youngest start middle school and I am already trying to find an alternative. I do not approve of MCMS.

I went to this school from 6th grade to beginning of 8th (luckily I moved to a better school) and I just gotta say, the school is TRASH. The students and teachers there are racist and rude. The academics are horrible, and the grading system sucks. The building is badly taken care of, the cafeteria smells bad and gives out very unhealthy food, I even got SPOILED MILK there (it wasn't outdated, meaning it wasn't put in the cold). I only had a few friends because the students were so judgmental about clothing and interests. Bullying was common as well. I once saw a roach in a bathroom. The teachers will give you suspension for something as little as having to use the bathroom but not for fights. If you can go to any other school, I recommend it. If you are new, the students will jump at you like prey and bully you. I have never been more glad to leave a place in my life
