Viva Mexico Mexican Restaurant

I like this venue a lot. It has a unique spirit. The food is wonderful. the service is efficient and the crew is polite. The price is fair. very much recommend.

We usually always eat here cause the food is great but tonight we got there at 9:34pm cause they close at 10. When they seen us walking towards the door they ran to the door and locked it. If they close at 9:30 they should change their time. Otherwise, we got there in plenty of time to be able to eat. So, we left there and went to Dos Margarita, whom also closes at 10 but they gladly let us in.

Selections too numerous to mention. Nice atmosphere in restaurant even though I was getting takeout. Tacos & Beer is closed on Mondays so when our craving called for Mex food we decided to give Viva a try. We enjoyed the food but it just wasn't spicy enough. Maybe after the pandemic subsides we'll give them another try; in person next time.

Typical Mexican restaurant. Mediocre food, not bad but nothing memorable. What WAS memorable was the server having to take our plates back to the kitchen to resolve an argument with the kitchen staff. The food delivered to our table was not what we ordered, and the kitchen staff fought back saying WE were wrong, so the server literally had to take our plates back to the kitchen and show them our food to prove they were wrong. Awkward and probably unsanitary in today's environment.

Consistently good food. I can't say it stands out above others in any spectacular way, it is just good solid Mexican food.
