Would give negative stars. Was told to park in staging parking lot to wait for a dock door. My DOT bumper bumped into a small tree they have planted. Their operations manager made a report to file a claim against my company. I took many pics and I did no harm to the tree. Unfortunately I think this has happened to many drivers. All the trees have been hit. The trees are planted too close to the curb and you’ll hit them if you back all the way up. I waited 4 hours for a dock door and unloaded in 1 hour. Security was friendly.
Do not come here before 7:30 am even if your appointment is 5:00am... NO OVERNIGHT PARKING, NO PARKING ON NEARBY STREETS ... COPS GIFTING FINES TO EVERYBODY! Don’t believe single word of Gate STAFF about parking....nDont park on the mud lot...
2nd worse facility that I have been to since I began driving truck. I have now been here 13hrs, 41min. They are finally unloading me. Thank goodness for 2nd shift. Apparently 1st shift left a mess. Do better people!!! It is times like this that I feel that shipping/recieving personnel should have to ride in a semi truck for a week or two to understand the totality of what they do to us drivers. The money we lose from sitting all day, no food, searching for a bathroom etc!! Thank you second shift for allowing me to microwave some food I had in the truck and for a cup of coffee. First shift should be offering amenities when there is a problem. You cannot begin to understand how it feels to be just left hanging for nearly 14hrs now...again, DO BETTER, think of others. When your shift ended, you got to go home and dump your problems on others.
You have to leave the property with a piece of paper and call the number give them the information on your BOL then they will call you and tell you what door to go to. It was about 2 to 3 hours wait for the call back. Then it takes about 2 to 3 hours to unload and there is no overnight parking on their property.
