Big Chic has fallen WAY off their game. The thighs are the size of their small dinner rolls, and the drumsticks I just received smelled funky. I tried to call them, but they take the phone off the hook so that it doesn’t ring during the lunch rush apparently. You’d think they would blast their supplier for the tiny chicken they’re having to serve, as this is not the first time I’ve received very small thighs. Probably won’t go back.
While the prices have increased, the food has remained mostly delicious. My less than 5 ranking comes not from the price increases but completely from the consistency in the portion sizes and quality of food. It's a lottery. Sometimes I go and get a gigantic chicken sandwich that you'd be hard pressed to even fit on a plate. It will be juicy inside and the batter will be crispy and delicious..... other times however I will get a sandwich roughly 1/4 the size of the one I just described. It will be dry and the batter will be soggy as if it had been sitting for a while. My problem of course is that these 2 sandwiches cost the exact same price. So if you enjoy delicious chicken, and aren't afraid of gambling, then look no further than big-chic of jackson.
