This are the best trails in middle Georgia. Next closest decent hiking is driving over an hour to FDR State Park or driving an hour north of Atlanta. Over 20 miles of trails designed in a way to do any length of hike. Also a great little wild animal sanctuary (NO DOGS in this small section). There's also a 5+ mile trail for hikers and horses separate from the biking trails.
Bike Trails are very good. Maps around the course could be better bc everyone there along with myself was lost and you could be out there for hours. Prepare accordingly.
Great exercise but tripped over several tree roots.. but you're in the forest so what would you expect.. just don't be clumsy like me and you'll be fine
This park is a gem. Hiking, biking, and horse trails... Zoo containing local wild animal rescues... lakeside pavilion and log cabin event hall for weddings, etc.
Peaceful place to walk and ride our bikes
