My family has been going to Fernando's since I was little. When we were young we used to just call the place 'cheese dip' because their cheese dip was so good. When a place can become iconic for just it's starts alone I think it shows something special. The food is great and every meal is enjoyable. Everything is fair priced and well done, I've never personally had a bad experience there and those who had were the most minute issues. Fernando's is a staple in Dacula and the best restaurant in town, along side it's sister restaurant Del Rio.

Ordered the fajita combo, along with entrees for my wife and kids. Everyone enjoyed the meal and the service was prompt and polite. The food was fresh and delicious. They also offer carry-out, which, the few times we have ordered, the food was correct and ready when I arrived.

Love the staff and love the food. We like to hang at local spots and we’ve frequented Fernando’s often. We like to sit at the bar with friends. The only real issue is the music. Why are they letting a patron at the bar dictate the music? Several people around complained about the blues being played for HOURS. It’s very sleepy and a downer. When a few other people asked for the music to maybe be changed to something more upbeat, the staff said “the gentleman over there likes this music and if I change it he will get mad” so when do we let a customer dictate the runnings of a business? Unfortunately, the music is just so sleepy that I won’t be coming as often as I normally would.

Been here a few times, but not for several months. This visit was a disappointment. First the good: cheese dip, salsa and chips were good. Lunch steak fajitas were pretty good (minus the rice, which was crunchy and chewy), and the steak was tender.nThe reason for 2 stars off was service. The 3 people were either not visible, or rushing past. I felt like I inconvenienced them asking for anything, and I had to talk fast because they were rushing. I figured they were short- handed... until I went to pay and saw them all hanging out on their phones. I commented about how busy they seemed, and the waitress said “nah it’s slow today).nI’ll probably give it one more try, and hope customer service is up to par.
