As always this is a wonderful and beautiful park. The people who come here are always nice and respectful.
So, out of fear of Covid, The Park service is in the habit of spraying all of the surfaces down with bleach (slides, swings, etc.). However, they don't adequately rinse the surfaces afterward. So don't be surprised when your kids' clothes are ruined or if they suffer chemical irritation. We tried to post a comment to the site, but the comment was blocked and we were told to call the park service directly. However, they never answer the phone. Very frustrating.
Such a BEAUTIFUL park! Took my Grandboys to let them run some energy off and they had a blast! People were socially distancing all while enjoying God's creation and getting fresh air with exercising!

Excellent for running. Paved portions are measured accurately and give a variety of distance/elevation options. The Hog Mountain as a 2.2 mile relatively flat loop while the Fence road side as 2, mile loops with some hills. The ravine loop has some challenging elevation changes. The unpaved horse trails provide a moderately technical trail run of 6+ miles depending on where you enter/exit.
