On a clear day, great views all around. They now have swings and picnic table up there now which makes it really nice. Love the off-road trails around the observarion terrace too. Great place to bring the family!
I love it up here.
The park is nice. Not all dog owners pick up after themselves though, so watch your step.
I been running at this park 3 times a week for the past 10 years. The east entrance with the big lake that you can fish is much better. If you have kids I think you would prefer the fence rd entrance with lots of swings and grills to be used by dads.
Good hiking/walking trails, steep paved road to combine to the Hog mountain side of the park. It is quite a work out, total about 4 miles. Lots of people biking, fishing, bird watching or just walking with family.
